Ever Made A Mistake?

How many of us have made a mistake? If you’re like me you have made quite a few. However as I’ve read our days were already written. So any mistake we’ve made was already known to happen.

The bible sheds light on some mistakes that were made:

• John 2:1 - Wedding planner with not enough wine.

• Genesis 37:5 - Joseph telling his brothers about his dream.

• Genesis 16:4 - Abraham and Hagar.

• Matthew 27:17 - The crowd chose Barabbas over Jesus

If you read a little further into those verses they will show you that even though these mistakes happened something good came out of it. The mistake became a teachable moment! So next time you forget your keys at home, maybe ring the bell next door and get to know your neighbor. Made a wrong turn down the wrong block? Look around and maybe find a new food or hang out spot!

So what do we do whenever we make those mistakes? Well, we turn them into teachable moments. You never know what the results of your mistake will be; good or bad, but trust God to turn it around and make it work out for your good! Romans 8:28 NIV - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Simply put, loving God can turn your mistake into a teaching moment that will help you continue in the purpose he’s called you too. So what are your mistakes teaching you?
